A High Court judge has admonished stakeholders in the education sector to put aside personal interests and focus their efforts on helping the nation’s children overcome the challenges they currently face. A High Court has encouraged members of the National Council of Parent-Teacher Associations (NCPTA) to put aside their personal differences in the interest of the children the organisation ultimately represents. A Tobago man who was arrested on three occasions for non-payment of child maintenance has won his case against the State, which failed to defend his lawsuit for wrongful arrest, false imprisonment and breach of his rights.
