Martin George’s Legal Opinion -: The Chief Secretary, Deputy Chief Secretary and other Secretaries remain in Office until new ones are sworn in.

This of course is limited to those who won their seats. Those who lost their seats are no longer Members of the Assembly and therefore can’t retain their posts as Secretaries.
