Mr. Martin George speaks on the establishment of the Trinidad and Tobago Revenue Authority

Attorney at Law MARTIN GEORGE, while commending the Government on its success in the Constitutional Motion with the PSA over the establishment of the T&T Revenue Authority, says that it is no cause for great celebrations as the main task of managing and harnessing the economy of T&T remains as the major challenge for the Government. He pointed to the challenges faced by Businesses with getting FOREX, the hemorrhaging of Billions of Taxpayers Dollars by so many State agencies wasting money and being inefficient and ineffective and says that these should be the areas of focus as opposed to raising a glass and toasting to victory.
