Pratt and Morgan v Jamaica

The Appellants Pratt and Morgan were convicted of murder and sentenced to death however due to the prolonged process of the legal system they spent a total of fourteen years waiting to be executed.

The Appellants indicated that this long await for execution would violate their right not to be subjected to cruel and unusual punishment.
